  TWO STAGE REDUCTION GEARBOX REDUCTION GEARBOX : A reduction gearbox is a device by which an input speed can be lowered for a requirement of slower output speed, with same or more output torque. Reduction gear assembly consists of a set of rotating gears connected to an output shaft. The high-speed incoming motion from the wheel work is transmitted to the set of rotating gears, wherein the motion or torque is changed. The number of gears used in the reduction gear assembly depends on the output speed requirement of the application. The reduction gear assembly is usually known as reduction gear box. Depending on the Output speed required, the reduction may have single stage or two stage reduction.  TYPES OF REDUCTION GEARBOX: There are mainly two types of reduction gears:   Single reduction gear   Double reduction gear In this design i used double reduction gearbox COMPONENTS OF A GEARBOX:  A Gearbox comprises of major components namely:  Casing  Gears  Shafts Bearings CAD MODEL

STIRLING ENGINE  What is Stirling engine ? Stirling engine is one kind of external combustion engine which converts thermal energy into kinetic energy by heating and cooling the working gas sealed in the cylinders. What is a Stirling engine used for? Stirling engines are energy conversion devices that may be used as prime movers, refrigerating engines or heat pumps. Currently they are used commercially as cryogenic cooling systems and are under development as low noise, low emission automotive engines. Design Model in Solidworks  I used LinkedIn learning source  to create this model using Solidworks By modeling this engine i have learned  lot of mating tips in assembly   Practicing Solidworks daily is one of  my hobby with the help of LinkedIn learning i have learned a lot Design  model of Stirling engine Motion Study of Stirling engine I have did motion study for this Stirling engine to  animate and show how it will run 1 RPM rotary motor is added to the wheel to rotate the  engine

KTM Duke 'X' Visor Clamp

  KTM Duke 'X' Visor Clamp  It is an after market Product used to mount the x visor (windshield)  in KTM duke bikes.  I tried this part to model in cad using solid works sheet metal      Process:  It is easy to make multiple bend while using the Sheetmetal features First we need to draw a sketch for that i choose top plane  Convert the sketch into a base flange using the sheet metal features Then select the edge to create the edge bend To create the hole i used Edit flange profile and also added fillet to sharp edge            The above pics are the cad model of the clamp  the drawing files contain all the dimensions I used some of the basic sheet metal  features like, Base flange, Edge bend, Milter flange and Tabs  to create this cad model. 

Cad Design Model of Mosfet(TO247)

Type:  Mosfet TO247 Application:  Heatsink, power converters Specification:  15*5*38 all in mm Material used:  Silicon, copper   I used Solidworks 2018 to create this cad model. This cad model was used for the purpose of Thermal simulation for electric vehicle chargers which was carried out using Ansys The exploded view of this model shows the terminals that are connected to the core                    

Matlab Powertrain model of Baja ATV

The above picture contain the layout of Baja ATV powertrain model I used Matlab (Simdriveline) tools to create this model The main motive is to create this model to find the exact output velocity of the Baja atv The throttle input and CVT ratio are given in signal builder  The output velocity of Baja ATV is given in graph unit is Km/hr The maximum velocity of Baja atv is 52.52 km/hr. The gearbox reduction ratio is 8.77:1 The  output RPM is 500  Type : All terrain vehicle     Mass :  230 kg    Engine :  305cc Min & Max RPM : 1800 - 3600
